NEW TO WINE?

Its velvety texture and smooth finish make it a welcoming introduction to Napa Valley Cabernet and a natural companion to grilled meats, hearty vegetarian dishes, and aged cheeses.

TASTING NOTES

The 2024 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon captures the essence of classic Napa Cabernet, led by vibrant cassis and dark fruit layered with notes of black fig, hibiscus, and cola berry. Fruit from the Hardman Vineyard provides an earthy mineral core, revealing nuances of gravel, crushed stone, and pencil lead that bring both character and structure. A small contribution from St. Helena lends floral aromatics and a supple texture, creating velvety tannins that carry the wine effortlessly across the palate. Concentrated yet balanced, it finishes with freshness and minerality.

VINEYARD & WINEMAKING

The 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from two exceptional Napa Valley vineyards, bringing together the distinct character of St. Helena and the Napa Valley floor. Half of the blend comes from the renowned Stanton Vineyard in St. Helena, a site celebrated for producing Cabernet Sauvignon with richness, concentration, and expressive dark fruit. The remaining fruit is sourced from Hardman Vineyard in Napa Valley, contributing structure, freshness, and balance to the final blend.

Following fermentation, the wine was aged in 80% new French oak barrels, a generous oak program that enhances texture, complexity, and depth while complementing the wine's vibrant fruit profile. The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon that seamlessly balances power and elegance, showcasing the generosity of the vintage and the distinctive character of its Napa Valley origins.

VINTAGE

The 2024 growing season kicked off with heavy winter rains, which saturated soils and laid a foundation for healthy vegetative growth, preparing the vines for expansive heat events from June through harvest. Excellent grape quality has winemakers excited about the potential of the vintage, with strong phenolic ripeness and balanced sugar levels, promising complex and flavorful wines. A mid-summer heat wave accelerated sugar accumulation while allowing acids to develop steadily.
