Created especially for our Wine Club Members, our Etched Bottles are a way of thanking members for their loyalty and providing them with uniquely elegant bottles ideal for celebrations and thoughtful gifts. Each wine is meticulously etched and painted by hand, with capsules and back labels applied one by one.
As the only Napa Valley winery to offer new holiday designs each year, we pour ourselves into this annual project, ensuring that each bottle is absolute perfection inside and out.

The three leaves that make up the Trilogy logo represent the three Bordeaux varietals that combine beautifully to form our Flagship blend. Cabernet, Malbec and Petit Verdot. We evolved the design in 2023 to a single golden color, which is replicated here on our Holiday bottle. This special edition of our beloved Trilogy is a must-have for the collector, etched and hand-painted in gold with elegant embellishment.

This handsome, understated bottling of our iconic flagship wine from the classic 2018 vintage was sourced entirely from the Komes Ranch in the Rutherford AVA. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot, this is a deeply concentrated wine with luscious notes of blackberry, black cherry, and ripe plum layered with notes of espresso, sassafras, dark chocolate and toasty oak. The palate is broad and the mouth feel is generous, yet the wine has a lovely streak of acidity that keeps it fresh and lively. Elegant tannins and spicy oak notes bring the wine to a gracious, long-lasting finish. This is a classy Cab, a great match for a juicy Rib Eye steak, lamb chops sizzled with garlic, miso-roasted eggplant or pepper-crusted Ahi tuna.

2018 brought a long, steady and near-ideal growing season to Napa Valley. Bud break began in late February/early March followed by an extended flowering period in May/June that yielded uniform grape clusters. The summer continued with typical warm temperatures but no significant heat spikes. Harvest was later than in recent years, accompanied by mild weather through September and October that allowed grapes to be picked at optimum ripeness and flavor. Napa winemakers agreed that 2018 was one of the least eventful and finest growing seasons they’d witnessed, yielding wines of intensity, concentration and balance.

The winery’s signature bottle isn’t the expected Cabernet Sauvignon but is instead a red blend made with 75 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 7 percent Malbec, 10 percent Petit Verdot, and 8 percent Cabernet Franc. "We have been fortunate enough to taste this delightful selection over the years...This wine always puts a smile on our faces and never disappoints! The 2018 Flora Springs Trilogy is an exceptional example of marrying three amazing varietals flawlessly, resulting in silkiness, body, incredible flavors and wonderful memories. I kick myself for not getting a picture of this in the glass. I guess it's incredibly easy to get excited and become lost in this wine. I would love to show you the wonderful crimson colors and beautiful, ripe tannins but that will have to wait until next time. The wine introduces itself with dark red and black fruits, cocoa beans, a wisp of book leather and roasted coffee. These aromas make the mouth water and make way to ripe blackberries, juicy plum, mocha and dark toast on the palate. The wine flows effortlessly that would pair well with an delicious prime rib, but we tasted this solo. For us, it's the best choice. This wine is absolutely delicious and it is easy to recognize why this is Flora Springs' flagship wine. Wow! It's almost perfect..."
