Summer Wine Shipping


Our wine is a sensitive and perishable product, and we have worked hard to ensure it leaves our cellar in perfect condition — and we want it to arrive that way too!

During summer, all Ground shipments will be held until October to keep your wine safe from heat during summer shipping. We will notify you before we ship your order.

Expedited Shipping
If you would like to receive your wine shipment during the summer hold period of June—September, we recommend selecting expedited shipping via FedEx Priority Overnight or UPS Next Day Air at checkout. We are pleased to offer these services at subsidized pricing to ensure your wine is delivered as quickly as possible, at a highly discounted rate.

Buy Now & Ship Later
If you would like to take advantage of limited-time offers or secure select wines but prefer Ground shipping, we recommend that you proceed with placing your order during the summer hold period. We will process your order and hold your shipment until cooler weather allows for Ground service. Simply select Ground shipping during checkout and make that note in your order. We will hold your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar and notify you before we ship your order. We anticipate shipping around October 24. If you feel that the weather conditions in your area are favorable earlier than that time, please reach out to discuss releasing your shipment earlier.

Exceptions
– AK and HI ship via FedEx 2 Day Air
– NV and AZ are on total weather hold until October

Extreme Heat Events
Sometimes it is too hot to safely ship wine via any shipping method. If this is the case, we will process your order and hold your shipment until more favorable weather. We will notify you if your order is subject to a weather hold, and again before we ship your order.

Flora Springs is not responsible for replacing wines that have been exposed to extreme temperatures during or after shipment.
