The 2025 Soliloquy opens with delicate apricot blossom and lemon verbena, layered with hints of chamomile and fresh citrus. The palate is unctuous yet vibrant, carrying a beautiful medium weight balanced by lively freshness and a subtle saline quality—like sunshine carried on a sea breeze. Savory undertones emerge through the mid-palate, adding dimension and complexity before unfolding into a long, mouthwatering finish. Each varietal brings its own character to the blend, yet together they create something greater than the sum of their parts: layered, harmonious, and distinctly Soliloquy.

2025 Soliloquy was thoughtfully aged across four distinct vessels, each selected to bring a different dimension to the finished wine. 50% stainless steel preserves aromatic purity, freshness, and vibrant acidity, while 30% concrete egg builds texture and enhances the wine’s savory, mineral character. 10% neutral French oak contributes subtle roundness without masking the purity of the fruit, and 10% new Ermitage French oak adds a delicate layer of richness, structure, and complexity. Brought together, these components create Soliloquy’s signature balance—unctuous yet lively, textured yet fresh, with remarkable harmony and length.

The Sauvignon Blanc at the heart of the 2025 Soliloquy comes from Oakville Crossroads Vineyard, in the heart of Napa Valley. Oakville’s warm, sun-filled days encourage generous flavor development and expressive fruit, while cool nights and early morning fog help preserve the natural acidity and freshness essential to Sauvignon Blanc. The appellation’s diverse alluvial and gravelly soils further contribute to the wine’s texture and complexity. The result is Sauvignon Blanc with both ripeness and energy—bringing aromatic intensity, vibrant freshness, and a beautifully textured core to the Soliloquy blend.

The 2025 growing season in Napa Valley began with a mild winter and moderate rainfall, providing essential soil moisture without excessive vigor. Spring arrived evenly, with temperate conditions supporting a healthy and uniform budbreak. A warm but balanced summer followed, marked by steady daytime temperatures and cool evenings that preserved natural acidity. Limited heat spikes allowed for gradual phenolic development and extended hang time, resulting in fruit with concentrated flavor, vibrant aromatics, and structural precision. Harvest commenced under clear skies, with grapes arriving at optimal ripeness and excellent balance.
