2024 Rose
Our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in sustainably-farmed Napa Valley vineyards. We made the wine using a classic technique known as Saignée or Bleeding. Once the handpicked grapes arrived at the winery, we whole-cluster pressed the fruit, removing the juice from the grape skins quickly in order to preserve freshness and imbue the wine with a lovely, light pink color. After fermentation the wine rested in tank for seven months prior to bottling with twice-weekly lees stirring.
Rosé wine, also known as blush wine, is a refreshing and versatile option for wine enthusiasts. Its pink hue makes it perfect for summertime sipping and pairing with light dishes. The grape skins are removed after only a few hours, which gives the wine its distinctive pink color. Rosé wine should be served chilled but not too cold. The ideal temperature is between 45 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit. If the wine is too cold, it will mute the flavors and aromas.
Our Napa Valley Rosé is an aromatic blend of white peach, vibrant blood orange, succulent watermelon and wet stone. Its refined character is enlivened by brisk, juicy flavors and a deliciously pure fruit profile. Fresh, racy, and finely chiseled, our Rosé offers an irresistible balance of elegance and refreshment.
In the past decades, winemakers have brought a finesse to the style of Rosé to elevate it from a back-yard BBQ wine to a complex and stylish blush wine many enjoy today. Thanks to the vast spectrum of Rosé styles, there is surely one to suit you. Our 2024 Rosé leans more towards the delicately fruitier side, while others may present as sweeter or more floral.

The 2024 growing season kicked off with heavy winter rains, which saturated soils and laid a foundation for healthy vegetative growth, preparing the vines for expansive heat events from June through harvest. Excellent grape quality has winemakers excited about the potential of the vintage, with strong phenolic ripeness and balanced sugar levels, promising complex and flavorful wines. A mid-summer heat wave accelerated sugar accumulation while allowing acids to develop steadily.
