Our debut release of Pinot Blanc, a wine we made specifically for wine club members.  Bright and refreshing, with a sleek, dry elegance. Shining with vibrant notes of gold kiwi, buttercup, and golden apple. Defined by its crisp acidity and endlessly inviting nature. Nestled in the cool-climate Carneros AVA, Pinot Blanc thrives, producing wines of remarkable elegance and balance. The region's characteristic fog and breezy conditions allow for a slow, even ripening process, preserving the grape's natural acidity and enhancing its nuanced profile.

Clean and lingering, leaving impressions of soft fruit and a touch of almond, inviting another sip. This wine pairs beautifully with light seafood dishes, fresh salads, or enjoyed on its own as a delightful summer afternoon sip.

Tasting Notes

The 2023 Pinot Blanc from Carneros is pale straw with glimmers of gold, reflecting its youthful vibrancy. Delicate floral notes of white blossoms intertwine with hints of honey, offering an inviting bouquet. Crisp and refreshing, this Pinot Blanc presents flavors of poached pear and subtle nougat, balanced by a gentle minerality. The wine's vibrant acidity and light body make it both approachable and versatile.

Winemaking

The grapes for our 2023 Pinot Blanc were 100% native fermentation, to preserve the acidity. They were fermented in 50% older French oak barrels, 50% stainless steel drums. The addition of Malvasia is what produces the floral nose.

Vintage

In 2023, Napa Valley experienced one of the longest growing seasons in a decade or more. Winter and spring rains led to full reservoirs and healthy, saturated soils; ideal conditions as grape growers headed into the peak growing months. With consistent, mild weather throughout the season, above-average crop yields, and extended hang time, 2023 was an exceptional, high-quality, and memorable vintage.
